Dragging an asset to a button will change the name of the button and

make a connection to the submenu.

Once you learn the tools and tips of DVD Studio Pro you can

plan ahead how you will author the project to save time. For example, a

button on the menu is automatically named when you drag assets to it

that are the target of the button.

2 Double-click the newly named Menu 1 button.

The Menu Editor opens the new submenu and you can see the still image

background that was applied.

3 Name the submenu you created Menu 2 in the Menu Inspector.

4 In the View pop-up menu at the top of the Menu Editor, choose Main

Menu.

The main menu is displayed in the Menu Editor. Next you will use a

shortcut to copy your aligned custom buttons to Menu 2.
