The Kurzweil 3000 Network Folder

As part of the Kurzweil 3000 Network Engine installation, the Administrator

creates a folder named Kurzweil 3000 Network on the top-level of the

computer’s hard drive. This folder contains various log files maintained by the

Engine.

User Folders

Within Kurzweil 3000 Network folder there is another folder named Users.

This folder contains a folder for each user account created on this Engine.

The individual users’ folders contain their personal settings file.

EventLog.log file

Among the files stored in the Kurzweil 3000 Network folder, the EventLog file

is of special interest. This file keeps track of users’ activities such as

dictionary look ups, and changes to reading speed, and reading mode as

they interact with Kurzweil 3000. See Collecting User Statistics on page 56.
