Locate the magnet on the top case as

shown in the picture. Using a flat head

screwdriver or flat tool, gently pry the

magnet up and out.

This will reveal another Philips head

screw. Remove the screw as shown.

Remove the trackpad connector cable by

gently grabbing it as shown and lifting

up.
