Expansion Bays

It is important to remember that customers may upgrade

their drives or have different types of drives installed in the

drive bays. You can replace the hard drive with a 3.5-inch

hard drive (1-inch high). You can replace the floppy drive

with a 5.25-inch or smaller device (maximum 1 inch

high). The CD-ROM drive, Zip drive (Power Mac G3 only),

and lower expansion bays accept a 5.25-inch or smaller

device (maximum 1.625 inches high).
