Mounting a File Share

There should be an icon for your share in the dock.

• If not from the Go menu choose Connect

to Server

• On the Connect to Server dialog

box select the server you want

and click Connect.

o If you do not see the server

you want, type the name

under Server Address and

click the +.

• Type your domain Username and

Password and click Connect.

Common drive – currently the common

drive server is: Commonfile1.is.tcu.edu

Personal share – currently the personal

share server is: homefile1.is.tcu.edu.

Using FTP to access your personal share

If you need to access files on your personal share from off campus you can use

Fetch (in the Finder go to Applications, Fetch).

In the New Connection dialog box enter

the following:

Hostname: fsftp.tcu.edu

Username: TCU username

Connect using: SFTP

Password: your password
