Tutorial 9 Creating Clean Plates 251
To crop the stitched plate:
1 Select the AutoAlign1 node, then insert a Transform–Crop node.
2 In the Viewer, drag the borders to crop the portion of the image you want to use in a
composite.
Now you’ll remove some of the distortion in the image. You can remove lens distortion
before you stabilize and stitch; otherwise, the locked plate image influences any
motion or perspective in the stitched image. In the spirit of simplification, use the
LensWarp node at this point to remove some of the distortion.
